This project is co-financed by the European Union through A Christian holiday and according to some chroniclers, a pagan custom that penetrated in Christian religion somewhere in early Middle Ages. It is celebrates against Great Christian Holiday "Christmas Eve" in almost all municipality' settlements. Most notable is Negortsi village. Huge Christmas fire should be lighted in the evening. Traditionally, there are three lighted fires in Negortsi on three different locations, which gather not only locals but also a large number of visitors from other settlements. Well-meaning society members are given hot grape brandy, tea, peanuts, walnuts and more. The smallest "Koledari" sing Christmas songs at local' homes and are donated with modest gifts.
