The Church of St. Atanasii the Great is located in the center of Negortsi village, north of Gevgelija. It was built at the end of 19th century and was reconstructed and completed several times. It is used by the locals for church rites. At the entrance to her yard is the oldest elm in Macedonia. This tree is a historical witness of Negortsi inhabitants' life.
