This project is co-financed by the European Union through 
"Saint Atanasii the Great" Church is located in Gabrovo village, on the eastern slopes of Mount Kozhuf. It was built by Andon Kitanov in 1851, and painted in second half of 19th century by Dimitar Andonov - Papraddishki. The church has new but also old icons that date from 1863 to 1878.
