The emphasis is placed on the significant place that our town occupies in Bulgarian history and its remarkable contribution to establishment of the Bulgarian nation. On the ground floor of renovated buildings, archaeological excavations items from the region are exhibited. Ceramic fragments and fully preserved vessels, varied coinage, plenty of glass, exquisite ornaments and more. They all testify to activity since the time of Thracians, which continued in antiquity and the Middle Ages. Also, rich ethnographic exposition presents in a unique way the essence and peculiarities of lifestyle. It is also called Hadjiradonova or Hadjilaskova house.
