Press-conference for the beginning of project “Affirmation of the natural and cultural values in the border region for better visibility and access”

We inform you that on 31.08.2017 (Thursday) in Bansko, Hotel Orphey, was conducted оne day Press-conference for the beginning of project “Affirmation of the natural and cultural values in the border region for better visibility and access”, financed by Interreg-IPA Cross-Border Programme "Bulgaria – the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" ref. No: CB006.1.21.183, Priority axis 2: Tourism; Specific objectives: 2.2 Enhancing the tourism potential of the region through cooperation initiatives in better preservation and sustainable utilization of natural and cultural heritage. 21 participants were present from both project countries, as well as media representatives. The main and specific objectives, activities, as well as expected project outputs and results were presented. It is an investment project with 24 months duration till 06.06.2019 and approved application form CB006.1.21.183. It is implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Gevgelija, fYRoM as a leader and Economic Development Agency Bansko as a project partner. The total approved budget is 215 312.40 €, of which 183 015.53 are IPA Funds, 6 843.06 are co-financing from the budget of the Republic of Bulgaria and 25 453.81 are co-financing from the budget of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
